Acceptable Use Policy

By registering or using this website, you agree to abide by our Acceptable Use Policy and all relevant laws and regulations. You also acknowledge your responsibility for compliance with any local laws. If you disagree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. I. Breach of Terms

Customers of ChainLinkHosting found to be in breach of these Terms (at the sole and exclusive discretion of ChainLinkHosting) shall be subject to immediate account suspension and eventual termination without refund of prepaid services.

II. Liability for Damage

ChainLinkHosting reserves the right to hold the customer liable for any damage caused and for the costs incurred in enforcing these conditions.

III. Service Interruption

Any act that results in the interruption of services to other ChainLinkHosting customers or Internet users will subject the customer to immediate account termination without refund of prepaid services, and may result in liability for the cost of lost services, plus investigation costs.

IV. Unauthorized Access

Any attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, whether within ChainLinkHosting’s network or any other network, will result in disciplinary action, up to and including immediate account termination without notice or refund of prepaid services. This may also subject the customer to liability for damages caused.

V. Reimbursement for Investigation Costs

The customer agrees to reimburse ChainLinkHosting for any costs incurred in investigating and resolving any incidents outlined in these Terms.

1. Accounts and Passwords

A. The customer must store identification data (login names, passwords), address data, and/or codes with the utmost care.

B. Identification data, address data, and/or codes may not be shared with any other party without explicit prior permission from ChainLinkHosting.

C. The customer is responsible and liable for any misuse committed using their identification data, regardless of who commits the misuse.

2. Network Usage

Customers are not permitted to use ChainLinkHosting systems and/or networks to:

  • A. Disrupt systems within the network.
  • B. Disrupt network services or communications.
  • C. Attempt to breach security measures of any system connected to the Internet.
  • D. Damage or disable ChainLinkHosting's equipment, hardware, software, data, or services.
  • E. Use the system for illegal purposes.
  • F. Engage in deceptive online marketing practices.
  • G. Invade the privacy of individual users by viewing their email or private communications.
  • H. Introduce viruses or malicious programs into the network or system.
  • I. Gain unauthorized access to other systems, networks, or programs.
  • J. Attempt to scan, probe, or test system vulnerabilities without explicit consent.
  • K. Monitor data or traffic of any network without permission.
  • L. Interfere with services to any user, system, or network.
  • M. Seek unauthorized information, alter files, or impersonate others.
  • N. Violate copyright or licensing protections of programs and data.
  • O. Develop or use programs that interfere with or infiltrate other users’ systems or networks.
  • P. Transmit material that violates laws or incites violence.
  • Q. Transmit material that is harassing or threatening.
  • R. Cause a nuisance to other Internet users.
  • S. Engage in fraudulent offers or financial deception.
  • T. Alter network header information to deceive others.
  • U. Attempt to impersonate another person or forge identifying information.
  • V. Access or attempt to access others’ accounts or security systems.
  • W. Transmit material that infringes third-party intellectual property rights.
  • X. Collect personal information from third parties without their consent.
  • Y. Send unsolicited emails or messages without permission.

3. Email

A. Customers are prohibited from sending unsolicited commercial emails ("UCE") or bulk emails ("UBE") through a ChainLinkHosting account.

B. The use of email, whether anonymous or not, to send threatening or harassing messages is prohibited.

C. Customers may not send email to more than 30 recipients at the same time, except for authorized mailing lists managed by ChainLinkHosting.

D. Customers must not send email to more than 100 addresses without prior permission from ChainLinkHosting. Section 3C still applies even with permission.

E. Customers are forbidden from forging header information in any email message.

F. ChainLinkHosting reserves the right to block any insufficiently secured mail servers connected to its network without prior notice.

G. Use of mailing lists on ChainLinkHosting's network must comply with RFC 3098 guidelines.

4. WWW Content

ChainLinkHosting reserves the right to remove any offensive or illegal information produced by the customer from its servers, without prior notice. Repeated complaints may result in account termination and data deletion. Violations can be reported to [email protected].

5. Traffic Monitoring and Packet Capture (PCAP)

A. By using ChainLinkHosting services, customers acknowledge and agree to traffic monitoring, packet capturing, and inspection for system integrity and security purposes.

B. Continued use of services constitutes consent to this monitoring. Refusal may lead to suspension or termination of services.

C. ChainLinkHosting may provide monitored data to law enforcement as required by law.

D. Any attempts to interfere with or evade traffic monitoring mechanisms will result in immediate service termination without prior notice.
